The Certificate of Circulation of Goods (CCM) in Free Trade Agreements
The Certificate of Circulation of Goods (CCM) serves as proof of origin in most free trade agreements. Exporters (or carriers, only on exporter’s authorization) must complete this form. For exports outside Switzerland, the CCM must be submitted to the Swiss customs office for export authorization, with additional approval possible only at specific district customs offices (Basel, Schaffhausen, Geneva, and Lugano). The relevant district customs office is determined based on the company’s registered office address. The CCM is not required for the AELS-Singapore, AELS-South Korea, AELS-Canada, AELS-Hong Kong, and AELS-Philippines free trade agreements. In the Switzerland-China free trade agreement, it is advisable to use the CCM EUR.1 CN.
