CCM
CCM (Certificato di Circolazione delle Merci) is a document used to certify the lawful circulation of goods from one point to another. However, it’s important to note that regulations and requirements regarding such a document can vary from country to country and may be influenced by various factors such as the type of goods, mode of transport, and customs regulations.
In general, a Certificato di Circolazione delle Merci may be issued by competent authorities or logistics operators to confirm that the goods in transit have been legally imported or exported and comply with all applicable regulatory and customs requirements.
The information contained in a Certificato di Circolazione delle Merci may include:
- Sender and Recipient Details: Information about the sender and recipient of the goods, including names, addresses, and contact information.
- Description of Goods: Detailed information about the goods being transported, including nature, quantity, value, and other relevant characteristics.
- Origin and Destination: Indications of the origin and destination of the goods, including information about ports, airports, or transit points involved.
- Mode of Transport: Specifications on the mode of transport used for the circulation of goods, such as road, rail, sea, or air transport.
- Date and Signature: Date of issuance of the certificate and authorized signature of the issuer or shipping agent.
CCM in general is the form that the exporter must fill out, or the carrier upon authorization by the exporter, in the territory of departure to allow its export outside Switzerland. The document must be presented and authorized at the customs office. It is not provided for by the free trade agreements EFTA-Singapore, EFTA-South Korea, EFTA-Canada, EFTA-Hong Kong, and EFTA-Philippines, while for Switzerland-China it is better to use CCM EUR.1 CN.
